How customers pay ManuFx, how ManuFx pays manufacturers, and how taxes, credit and cancellations are handled.
Who pays whom
Customers pay ManuFx for their orders, and ManuFx pays the manufacturers who make them. Customers and manufacturers never pay each other.
Prices, currency and taxes
Quotes show the full price in US dollars. Payment schedules are in Indian rupees, converted at the rate stated with the quote. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is added as the law requires: CGST and SGST within a state, IGST across states.
Payment terms
Each quote sets out when payments fall due. Terms can include an advance, payment in stages, payment within 30 or 60 days, a letter of credit or a retention amount.
Orders are paid in advance unless your company has an approved credit limit. Credit is granted after a review of your company, and every credit decision is made by ManuFx’s leadership.
How to pay
Pay by bank transfer, cheque, letter of credit or, from outside India, SWIFT transfer, to the bank details on our invoice. Then record the payment and its reference in your ManuFx account; our finance team confirms it once received.
We never change our bank details by email. If you receive a request to pay to different details, contact us before paying.
Invoices and corrections
Issued invoices are never edited. If an invoice needs correcting, we issue a credit note.
Cancellations and refunds
An advance paid on an order is not refunded if the order is cancelled. Any other charge for work already done is set out when the cancellation is agreed. A cancellation after money has changed hands needs the approval of ManuFx’s leadership.
Payments to manufacturers
- We pay against our purchase orders. Each bill is checked against the purchase order and the goods received before it is paid.
- Payments are made by bank transfer, and each carries its bank reference (UTR). When a purchase order says so, payment follows the customer’s payment for the order.
- To protect your money, a change to your bank details is confirmed by a call to your company, and payments to the new account start seven days later.
